![]() ![]() Generics Tier ListĪs of February 2022, all units without any personal skills are removed from the Tier List itself. In contrast, Ranged Fliers struggles to achieve any form of combat relevancy as they lack a decisive passive in their B slot. For instance, Armored Units tend to be viewed more favorably due to being granted access to powerful Passive B (such as Savvy Fighter and Hardy Fighter) and the Savior Skills in Passive C. The combination of weapon and movement types will influence both the skills that the units would be able to access and the amount of stats they could allocate. With the combat considerations, one of the influencing factors would be the skill access of the said units. This includes units such as Ninja Corrin, Summer Caeda, and Hatari Azura. The exception to the rules are ones that are more likely to activate the skills in a map. As many prominent maps in the higher tiers of the mode are leveraging on Duo's Hindrance and Duo / Harmonic units, it can be difficult to activate the skills. ![]() One of the factors that the team would usually ignore is the usage of Duo Skills. ![]() For example, Bridal Catria's Triangle Attack enables many player-phase units on defense to perform well, but the contribution is more towards Catria than the other units. The team would attempt to evaluate each unit's portion of contribution to the strategy and evaluate accordingly. There will be occasions where a combination of units forms a powerful strategy. This rule also applies for supports, except they alter the outcome of the support's allies instead of themselves. This includes aspects such as effective damage or nullification, guaranteed follow-up or nullification, and many other aspects. This meant that skills that alter the outcome of combat are naturally valued more. Combat Considerationsįor combat units, the team would evaluate based on the common threats of the counterparties (enemy-phase units for nukes on defense and vice versa, Save tanks against ranged nukes on offense, etc). Supports will also be tiered relative to other supports, etc etc. ![]() Without the icon, the units are tiered based on their offensive capabilities. The placement of each unit will be based on their best possible role. Heroes whose tier is determined by their role on defense rather than offense are denoted with an icon that corresponds to their matching mythic season (units with no mythic season preference on defense will have a mixed season symbol). Naturally, the team will try to avoid evaluating a fish based on their abilities to climb trees. The primary factors considered when tiering heroes are as follows: Role ConsiderationsĪ unit can contribute in combat in many different ways, and in many different strategies. Please keep this in mind when considering placements in this tier list, as every unit can be completely viable in all modes of play. Note: Fire Emblem Heroes provides a significant number of ways to vastly improve units via Skill Inheritance, Ally/Summoner Support, Sacred Seals, Dragonflowers, ally buff support, and so on. Some subjectivity is unavoidable when it comes to tier lists, so we encourage users to seek other perspectives and opinions on unit viability alongside the information in our tier list. The following is an explanation of how the tier list was made: the criteria each unit was evaluated against and a short explanation on why each unit is placed as they are. ![]()
